Susan Renée (Gleeson) Dieter             August 16, 1948       June 8, 2022 

Susan was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She passed away following a short illness in Maryland on June 8, 2022, surrounded by family. Susan was the second oldest child of the late Charles Gleeson and Betty (Grodeceur) Gleeson, born on August 16, 1948. She was predeceased by her husband, William; and is survived by her brothers, Charles, Robert (Anne), and Jeffrey (Rhonda) Gleeson.

Susan is also survived by her adoring nephews and nieces, Brian (Michele) Gleeson, Caroline (Justin Frizzell) Gleeson, Molly Gleeson Scott, Claire Gleeson, and Brian Dieter. 

Susan graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in 1966, and then attended Penn State University. She married her husband, Bill, in 1982 and moved to New York where they lived on Long Island for 40 years. 

Susan made an impact on everyone she met. Her gorgeous blue eyes and beautiful smile lit up a room and her witty sense of humor brought joy to many. She is deeply missed by her family and friends.
