Dan was a good friend for many years.  We met, along with Dennis Pittman, while we attended Howe School.  We went all the way through junior high and high school together.  Dennis, Dan and I spent many hours playing football and wiffle ball in Dennis's backyard among many other memorable moments we all spent together.  I'm not sure I realized he attended Robert Morris because I also did.  I think he might have gone to the Moon Township campus, I was downtown.  Even though we lost track of each other for awhile during those years, we reconnected later and picked up right where we left off.  We have remained good friends to this day.  It wasn't all that long ago when the three of us gathered at Dennis's home prior to attending an oldiers concert at the Benedum.  He will certainly be missed. My condolences to all of his friends and his family.  I certainly will miss our get-togethers.  Rest In Peace, my Friend.

I was not that close to Danny in high school...then I headed to the work workd never to be seen by anyone again "until" our 50th Reunion.  When we set up the site web site...Cathy Reynolds Condello received an envelope with pics of Danny an a couple others.....when we found out how to reach one or two of them ... we confirmed "who" the pics were....and got them signed on to the site.  I think Danny liked staying in touch and I am happy we gave him the tool to help do so.     Rest in Peace, Danny....you will live in the hearts of many.

Dennis K. E. Pittman

a dear dear dear long time friend from earlest days when he sat on stoop with his lunch bucket so he didn't need to go home for lunch...also because he liked the girl next door despite that young age...moved on to be 'best' left hnaded' 2nd baseman at Howe School little league and gave Nuns @ St Ann's gray hair until he matriculated back to Mt Lebanon public schools...many wiffle ball games in backyard and spinning 45' oldies ( who were newies then) on my dad's stereo ...graduated litreally and figuratively to beers or dinners togther with his beautiful wife Cheryl and attended several rock 'n roll reunion concerts at Benedum as well as Jeresy Boys at Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland...would be remiss if did not mention all the Pirate games and Pirate talks over the years...in fact he even named his son Tanner

( guess why?)...rest in piece my friend until I hope to get to play short stop next to you again oneday - Dennis K E Pittman
