Wow, this was a shock.
Back in 1966 I didn't have a date to the Prom, so some very helpful classmate gals (wish I remembered who) arranged for Mary to go with me. She was very nice and I had a very enjoyable time when I thought I'd miss it. Hope she did too.
My deepest condolences to her family.

What beautiful words for Mary...I did not hang out with her either but she was in many of my classes ... I too remember how special she was and it appears she remained that way through life.
Judy...wow...how life has changed since 1966...no more secrets, it's away of life. Hope to see you all at the reunion. Sadly we'll be seing more of these messages and to miss the memories of 50 years will be a shame for those who can't make it. Nancy Bies is planning on having you stay with her in September

Mary always wanted to be an actress and spent many hours taking the bus and trolley out to Oakland for classes. I was curious to know what PBJ Connections is, the organization the family requested donations to be made to, so I googled. PBJ provides mental and behavioral health therapy for youth and families using horses. RIP Mimi.
