Ronald Norman Wisniansky

Ronald N. Wisniansky, 55, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday March 31, 2004 in the Donnell House of Washington. He was born in Pittsburgh July 29, 1948, a son of Norman and Alice Fedasz Wisniansky. Mr. Wisniansky graduated from Mount Lebanon High School in 1966. He has been a Canonsburg area resident since 1976 and was employed at Cooper Industries as a heavy equipment operator from 1966 until 1994. He served with the United States Navy during the Viet Nam Era. He was a member of Saint Patrick Parish of Canonsburg, American Legion Post 902 of Houston, and the National Train Collectors Association, and was a former member of the Peters Township Fire Department. He enjoyed model trains and woodworking. Mr. Wisniansky was the last of his immediate family. On June 27, 1992, he married Kathleen Sankey Wisniansky, who survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Jennifer Deakin-Conti of Canonsburg. . Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, in the Sollon Funeral Home, Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, Supervisor, where blessing services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004 with a priest from Saint Patrick Parish officiating. Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Hospice Care of Washington Hospital, 10 Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301 or Catholic Charities of Washington County, 331 South Main Street, Washington, PA 15301.
