IN MEMORY
David McCandless
George Lee shared this information to us. Dave did not have a class photo but I found one of his wrestling photos to remember him.

David,
I miss you man. You were one of the nicest guys I knew in high school. Again I got so busy with my own life and family that I lost touch. It's not until I got older that I realized those old friends are older and unfortunately die young. Thanks for teaching me the figure 4 grapevine.
Picture this...Mona Lisa Productions forever; we remember.
Anson passed away in May of this year, but you know this. Give him a hug for me and save me a seat at the movies.

I remember David very well because I had to wrestle him everyday in practice and he was extremely tough with his long arms and legs that he would wrap around me. He was a great person I always enjoyed his company. He left us early but I will always remember him.

Sad to see your name among those who have passed. I was hoping to see you at the 50th. We were not too close but I knew you as a smart and happy fellow. While at Jefferson Jr. High, you and I had a fight (for dramatic purposes) and you lost the tip of a finger to the bent metal "pop gun" we struggled over. Oh the issues with getting "out of costume" to not be embarassed at the ER. I think you got that piece found in the gun barrel sewed back but expect it was a reminder for years. Like you, I became an attorney - I hope you enjoyed the challange and the opportunity that provided. I will see you -
