Mike McGarry was so kind to submit this Obit regarding a dear Mt.Lebanon friend who went through most years from Jefferson on until his father passed.  Please review the note from Mike concerning this Classmate.  We are also providing a link to Winky's Obituary.  He was Jefferson friends with Bill Morgan and Bill's merry band of friends that got caught in Nam so maybe they remember him.

I will also apologize that the notes from Mike McGarry were getting lost in my mass of emails.  I had a little set back and when I do, I can't catch up for days . This was important if anyone wanted to attend services....and I am sorry for the delay.

I personally did not know Winky Wayne...he sounds like a terrific person...a perfect Mt. Lebo soul.  May he Rest In Peace !!!

Hi Sue, thanks for responding.

Wayne ( Winky) attended Jefferson through 9th grade . He then started 10th grade at MLHS until his dad died then he was sent to private school at Winchester Thurstonand finished high school there.

Wink was the most popular kid at Jefferson, because of his good personality. He was good friends with Bill Morgan, John Dragonas, Chris Eby and many other guys like them.  I will send you a link to his funeral obit in a separate email.

I did attend his funeral all service in Erie yesterday which was very emotional.
