I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Andy well, but after reading David Jones' comments, I wish I would have gotten to know him. R.I.P. Andy, you will be remembered by your whole class now forever and honored at your 2016 Reunion.

Since you're the film buff, do you know who did "Dole Finger"? Was that you guys, Andy or someone else. If anyone has copies, it would be great to have a short little film feastivile at the 50th reunion.

Like Dave Bates, I got a big kick out of Mona Lisa Productions. The reverse video of someone (Help me, who was it?) un-eating a plate of spaghetti was hilarious. He gave out #2 pencils embossed with "Mona Lisa Fan Club". It treasured it, until I found it one day on my sister Judith's desk- sharpened!!! I thought I'd kill her. Several years ago I was reading an article in Newsweek or USNWR about religion in America and an "Anson Shupe" was quoted as an authority. I thought, "there's only one Anson Shupe" and sure enough it was him.
Hey Bates, save me a seat next to yours.

David, Do these films still exist? Could be some light entertainment at the reunion.
I remember Anson as a really clever and funny guy.

The MLP "flicks" were over-the-top humor from a bunch of truly talented guys... the predecessors to Monty Python by 3 to 5 years.

Agree with Susan, would love to see a few of the Mona Lisa Production shorts, if available.

Anson, also knownas "Ansy-buns" and "Bunsworth von Shupe" was a dear friend. I had the unique oppertunity to be in The Knights of the Table of Mona, shot in South park. We were about to all head up the hill dressed in our costumes when a policeman arrived to see what was up. When asked Anson he replied we were going to joust with the buffalos. I have used the MLP motto for years, :WE have what you like." Save me a seat too. Off crackin' up God I'll bet.God bless old son.

Friends,
Mike Dunn or Malcolm Crosbie would have them if they still exist. Like Anson, I lost trace of them also. My life got in the way and friends were lost over time. I didn't realize the value of many things including Anson and other old friends, until they were lost on this earth plane. I'm also sorry to say high school was "a right of passage" only to be revisited every 10 years if I could make it. I'd love to talk with the Mona Lisa actors and crew and compare memories in September. I believe Dole Finger was one of MLP's, but 50 years have "fuzzied" my memories.
Peace profound,
Batman

I remember Andy as a fun, and original, high school classmate. Thank you to all who posted details about his life and accomplishments. I remember those films, and planning the films, and the filming, well.

It would be so wonderful if those MLP films could be located, and if their condition allows - digitized and uploaded to YouTube.
